Aora is a publishing house established in 2007 in the capital city of Croatia. We are specialized in: • fiction in translation and Croatian fiction • avant-garde and experimental poetry • biographies of avant-garde artists, poets and writers, especially women artists, poets and writers of the 20th and 21st century We are specially dedicated to the so called "non-commercial" authors and genres: young or "best-age" Croatian or regional writers with their high-quality first novels, poetry books or short story collections. Our authors are very important to us and we try to establish a long-term cooperation, following them in their growth, by publishing more of their works: novels, poetry, short stories or essays. |
